HON Dr. JOHN CHIKATIPROMISES TO BALANCE HIS DUTIES AS THE SG FORD KENYA AND MP TONGAREN CONSTITUENCY

 on Sulwe Radio on 18/4/2023, the area member of parliament Hon Dr.  John Murumba Chikati who doubles as the secretary general of Ford Kenya following the former SG Hon Chris Wamalwa being appointed to a state office post. He was clear and thankful for the NEC members who attended the PG meeting at Maanzoni on 16/4/2023. The secretary-general promised to abide by the constitution of the party and serve all members of the party with humility.
He dismissed the allegation that the desire to take the position was engineered by the UDA brigade championing the auction of the party. Dr. Chikati categorically stated that the leadership of Ford Kenya is more than willing to allow other parties to fold and join Ford Kenya but at no time will this party dismantle into another political party. 
The legislator appreciated the member drawn from the Tongaren constituency who supported him. He assured all members countryside that his first step in the office, as the secretary general is to reach out to regions that were initially owned by Ford Kenya but other parties compete with them  
Dr. Chikati promised to approach all leaders drawn from Bungoma to persuade them to join the party since he is mindful of the fact that charity begins at home. He requested support from both members of the party and his people from the Tongaren constituency. 
The MP of Tonagren assured the electorate of his constituency that he will make sure he balances his duties as a representative of the said constituency and that they should not worry about the delivery of services being delayed. he dismissed the allegations that he wasn't reading the same script with the MCAs from his constituency and said that he received a lot of support from them while at maanzon.  The MP promised to complete all projects started by his predecessor Hon Eseli because he is mindful that it is for the benefit of the electorate. Dr. Chikati assured the university student that they will get sorted with a bursary once the money is released to the kitty. He equally assured that he will work on several roads to give bodaboda riders an easy time when doing their job.
While at the stakeholder's meeting that was held at. Patricks Naitiri boys the area MP urged that the secondary school within the constituency had registered low grades in the previous KCSE results which from the analysis done mathematics was not performed well. He promised to fund a symposium for math teachers across the constituency and invite experts thus interrogate the methodology of handling the subject and hence improve. He also persuaded the principals to consider being patient as he had dispatched phase 1 of the bursary and will soon pay something.it was a very successful induction that was attended by the Educationists from within the constituency.
