As the festive season sets in, it is with immense gratitude and joy that I, Hon. Stephen Wafula Wamalwa, MCA for Soysambu Mitua Ward and Deputy Speaker of the Bungoma County Assembly, extend my heartfelt wishes to you all. To the resilient and hardworking residents of Soysambu Mitua Ward and the entire Bungoma County, I wish you a Merry Christmas and a prosperous New Year 2025.

Reflecting on the Year 2024

This year has been one of significant achievements, resilience, and collective efforts. In Soysambu Mitua Ward, we have worked hand-in-hand to enhance service delivery and improve the quality of life for our residents. Through infrastructure projects, such as road improvements and the electrification of various villages, we have connected communities and created opportunities for growth.

Healthcare and education have remained my top priorities, and I am proud of the strides we have made to ensure better access to these essential services. Our farmers and entrepreneurs have continued to shine, driving economic growth and ensuring food security for our people. These accomplishments have only been possible because of your trust and unwavering support.

As Deputy Speaker of the County Assembly, I have also had the privilege of representing Bungoma County at large, working with fellow leaders to pass legislation and policies that promote equitable development, inclusivity, and good governance.
Looking Forward to 2025

The New Year presents an opportunity to build on these successes and address the challenges that remain. For Soysambu Mitua Ward, I am committed to continuing the work of enhancing infrastructure, boosting agricultural productivity, and empowering our youth and women through skills training and economic opportunities.

For Bungoma County as a whole, I pledge to work collaboratively with the County Assembly and Executive to push for initiatives that improve healthcare, education, and social welfare programs. Together, we can unlock the vast potential of our county, ensuring that every resident feels the impact of development in their daily lives.
