Hon. Majimbo Kalasinga's Christmas and New Year Message to the People of Kabuchai Constituency


As the year 2024 comes to an end and the festive season fills our homes with joy, I take this opportunity to extend my heartfelt greetings to the wonderful people of Kabuchai Constituency. From Mukuyuni to Kabuchai, Luhya Bwake to West Nalondo, you have stood strong and united, and it is my greatest honor to serve as your Member of Parliament.

This Christmas, I wish you and your families a season filled with peace, love, and happiness. As we prepare to usher in the New Year 2025, let us reflect on our achievements, embrace the lessons of the past year, and look forward to a brighter and more prosperous future.
Reflecting on 2024

The past year has been one of progress and resilience for our constituency. Together, we have made remarkable strides in addressing the key issues that matter most to you. Through your unwavering support and my commitment to service, we have seen improvements in critical areas such as infrastructure, healthcare, education, and economic empowerment.

In Mukuyuni, the completion of road rehabilitation projects has brought better connectivity, easing transportation for farmers and traders. Kabuchai has benefited from enhanced water supply systems, ensuring access to clean water for many households. In Luhya Bwake, educational programs have empowered our youth with knowledge and skills to secure a brighter future. In West Nalondo, agricultural initiatives have provided much-needed support to our hardworking farmers, boosting productivity and incomes.

These accomplishments are a testament to what we can achieve when we work together, and they inspire me to continue pushing for even greater milestones in the coming year.
A Renewed Commitment to Kabuchai

As we enter 2025, I want to assure you, the people of Kabuchai, that my commitment to you remains as steadfast as ever. Your needs, aspirations, and dreams will continue to guide every decision I make and every project I pursue.

I pledge to:

1. Enhance Infrastructure Development: We will continue expanding road networks, electrification projects, and access to clean water, ensuring no village is left behind.


2. Improve Healthcare Services: I am committed to equipping our health facilities and ensuring that our people have access to quality and affordable healthcare.


3. Empower Education: Education remains a cornerstone of development. I will advocate for more bursaries, scholarships, and resources to uplift our schools and support our students.


4. Boost Agriculture: Supporting our farmers will remain a priority as we promote modern farming techniques, subsidized inputs, and better market access.


5. Create Economic Opportunities: Through youth and women empowerment programs, we will unlock opportunities for job creation and entrepreneurship, ensuring that every resident has a chance to thrive.
