CONTRACTUAL EMPLOYEES OF IEBC BUNGOMA COUNTY HAVE EVERY REASON TO SMILE

Following the post by #kwani iko nini of 26/6/2023 which was urging political leaders from ungoma county to intervene in the payment of IEBC employees who served on contract on 8/12/2022 during the senatorial by-election.
This came after these workers had stayed to the tune of 7 months without earning their dues. They are now in celebrations following the IEBC having paid on 10/7/2023.
The majority of the workers have extended their appreciation to some leaders who had empathized with them during their hard times of trouble. Despite a few having not gotten the pay with one or two reaons
Hon Majimbo Kalasinga was the first on the floor of the National Assembly who questioned the delayed payments of citizens who had served the public in overseeing the then by-election of senatorial position in Bungoma county. The Honorable MP did this urging the relevant authorities to take action and see to it that the out-cry stops. As Orpah Winfrey said "Being courageous is feeling scared of death but you do it anyway" Majimbo was very bold enough to represent the needs of those that everyone had ignored.  And the beautiful thing about personal expression is the fact that if you express yourself in articulate, confident and passionate manner your world will always believe in you and adopt your dream.
Most of the affected citizens of Kenya who resides in Bungoma county as they enjoy during this very hard time of the economic crisis with the same wages having been slashed they celebrate and hold the name of this legislator so high across the county.
Truly if you built a better mousetrap than your neighbor even if you live in the woods the whole world will find a kitten path to your residence. The whole county in this context is celebrating this hero who did not look at what others would think not say but presented the interest of his people.
Long live Hon Majimbo Kalasinga long live!!!! They say.
Secondly was Hon Wafula wakoli the senator of Bungoma county.  Who was the competitor in the election of 8/12/2023  he also followed suite on the floor of the senate and questioned why the midwife who stood in the gap to ensure that he was delivered we'll hence sworn in as the senator crying??
He insisted that it was not fare for a people who served the public in such capacities to cry for their pay when it was allocated for that purpose.
The world is a dangerous place not because of those who do evil, but because of those who look on and do nothing. Hence, by extension the majority are celebrating the same Hon wafula wakoli for the same efffots done.
Another political leader who ignited the process though not publicly was Hon Didmus Barasa of whom it is said that when contractual employees from his constituency approached him on the same matter.
He called the president H.E William Ruto and gave him facts on that context which the president promised to respond to. And thus those youths who had approached him appreciate him entirely.
When you meet someone better than yourself turn your thoughts to becoming his equal. When you meet someone not as good as you are look within and examine yourself....retire into yourself as much as possible associate with people who are likely to to improve you. Welcome those whom you are capable of improving. The process is a mutual one people learn as they teach.
For those mentioned feel appreciated for whichever efforts you played in helping those in need. As they say " Heving a million friends is not a miracle but having a friend who can stand by you in a million ways is truly a miracle
As they put it give credit where it is due. The mentioned deserved it and have been highly appreciated
When the history books are written someone will say there lived a leaders who had the courage to stand up for his people.  This is very key and soon or later all the people of Bungoma county will have to discover to a way live together and help one another that's when we shall realize development.
