CIRCLES THAT POLITICIANS TAKE THE ELECTORATE INTO. THIS TREND MUST STOP.

Kenyan governments traced from independence has been having tendency of using the vast majority to suppress them.it was in 1970s to 1975 when this country had identified several problems. Unemployment, imbalanced distribution of resources ethnic marginalization and throughout this regimes that has been in place we still can stand before public and talk of unemployment !! unemployment!!! unemployment !!!.
Something must be wrong somewhere either by we the electorate or the populace. But most linked to the populist.  Political was did not start today for it can be traced back in 1972 ;
When Kenyatta government attempted to change the policy following some of the katundu Coutiers had started to perceive Kariuki as a threat, however and members of the group steadily moved to acquire control of adminstrative positions that the would give them greater powers to circumscribed their fellow party member's ability to organize this led to split into two groups consisting of the family of kenyatta and his associates and relatives and a smaller faction that included Charles Njonjo who later helped broker Moi's accession to presidency. Although kenyatta succeeded in resisting most efforts to use the party machinery to control new movement, the family or main conservative faction eventually succeeded in shattering the populist coalition and increasing the level of fragmentation within the Jogoo regime.
In 1972 the international labour organization ILO report had identified Emolyment, incomes and Equality as the germaine causes of problems affecting Kenya which was not articulated well addressed in Kenya. It had also documented ethno-regional imbalances in levels of development and advocated measures that would redistribute capital expenditures and recurrent budget allocations for services so as to benefit areas outside central province. Those concerns were affecting the first regime to rule this nation
Following fact that it sought to have a balanced society that advocated for equity the ILO report was not tabled on the floor of the parliament as expected until when Elijah Mwangale the then MP for Bungoma East moved independently to adopt the report and it's recommendations.
"the reason why I am moving this motion rather than wait for Government to bring a session paper to This house because our experienced in the past has been that where there are very strong sectional interest....it has been the practice of the government to refuse to bring a sessional paper" said mwangale citing the ndegwa report as a sample.
Who in the current national or senatorial parliament could move to question concerns of the electorate against the will of the ruling government a party that he belong
If truly such conditions were realized way back then and still today we are experiencing same problems then how can we blame it on leaders??  Back then JM kariuki questioned why we still had not attempted to combat the pressure and issues of tribalism?????.... In other word echoed the dissatisfaction of policies were geared to benefiting the few.
Kenya has grown into a society where we elect leaders basing on the size of their pockets and ethnic affiliation something that will haunts this nation for now 50+ years.
The custodians of the shrine devices this method that works well for them and utilize them for decades now. Some questions we need to start asking are:
1. Why is it that during campaigns this politician come with money??? Mostly Khs 50?
2. Why do we have cut-throat competitions for this elective positions ??
3. Have we really defined corruption well to learn that even politicians giving us money so that we vote for them is purely corruption??
4. Do we really question rather interrogate the choices presented to us so that we pick of the most appropriate???
5. Why do politicians do some projects here and there only during campaigns??? And when nearing elective periods.??
6. Do this politicians give support to their supporters after election?
There is evidence written on walls everywhere that this philosophy of buying the electorate in order to have then voted in is one of our undoing
This philosophy is mastered well by the politicians in that they denied services to the residents such that the electorate remains in dire need of that money due to poverty hence, when brought to campaign it finds them desperate hence very much in need of the money and thus get confused to taking it so that they aren't able to make informed decision during voting as they are slaves to the money given.
If the electorate doesn't learn to change this paradigm shift to servive on without needing to consider money during voting than we may live to have this sign song for decades.
Kenya Kwanza regime is similar to the Jubilee regime not because the President H.E William Ruto was in the former government but because all regimes operate on one Blueprint which informs the structure on which policies are made.
H.E Uhuru while in Government had similar policies that did not consider the common mwananchi but favoured the minorty. The KANU regime had same manifestations and operated on the same philosophy. The only regime that appeared to differ a bit was NARC of 2002-2007 to some extent work was done.
There is need to revisit the blueprint of this government and this should start with electorate. Education is lacking in the electorate on what they except in leadership. Those who supported any particular regime will continue talking for the regime even when it did things that are completely opposite to the expectation and claim ownership of the government.
How can one celebrate a disease that is killing you just because you were part of this formation???
Those on the opposing end will live distorting any good thing done by the government as though it's a duty to do so....who shall we blame??
Let us not divide ourselves just because we have demi-gods whom we worship as our political warlords who appear to have monopoly of wisdom but in truth the only thing they know is self- interest. Bungoma county claim to be in government this time round hence promise that things will change....in 2013-2017 regime Bungoma was in government with H.E Lusaka as Governor in Jubilee.... Did we have something to pin on table???
In 2002-2007 Narc regime though without devolution but most of our kin were ministers in the cabinet of kibaki. I.e Hon Mukhisa Kituyi, Hon Musikari Kombo Hon Moses Wetangula e.t.c with Vice President Moddy Awory taking over from Late Kijana Wamalwa.
What can we celebrate of those days???
Last recent regime we had our own kin being 4th in command Speaker of the senate Hon Ken Lusaka we're we not in government those days???
Most thing that we are used to is starting internal war by these leaders in which they keep the electorate fighting ...exchanging...not noticing to question their right creating in necessary differences only to engage the youths so that main focus is diverted then they take whatever they want then towards the end they bring their slogan...like now
1. What is the cause of war in leadership....why is it dragging in the electorate?? Coalition and parties have created warlords who should be wirshipped or else you face the music.
This is rural idiocy let us wake up and point a finger to real impunity.
What people want now is service delivery!!!
When suffering knocks at your door and you say there is no seat left for him.... He tells you not to worry because he has brought his stool.

Clarion call is hereby issued that our lives begin to end the day we become silent about things that matter-william Shakespeare
The electorate have the yam and have the knife too.....
